‘Your pregnancies were a sham’: Meghan Markle’s pal breaks silence on ‘evidence’ calling the duchess a liar

Meghan's pregnancy video has reignited the speculation that she was never pregnant.

Years ago, Prince Harry left Royal life behind and walked out the door of the palace, leaving his family behind, to shield Meghan Markle from the curse of trolls and negative press, adamant on making her life difficult. But his efforts have been in vain. If anything, the duchess is now the subject of ridicule more than ever. But this time, is it her fault?

A few days ago, Meghan posted a video from the last few hours of her second pregnancy, where she is seen dancing with Harry. The caption of the video mentions that since Lilibet, Like Archie, was a week past her due date, and everything else didn’t work – so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture – the couple started grooving to “Baby Momma Dance Song.”

Since then, Meghan has been at the heart of a gossip storm, with trolls and haters commenting on everything from how lumpy her belly looks to how it is impossible to move the way she moved in the video when you are that heavily pregnant. As every breath the Suits star takes gives way to a conspiracy theory, there has been one around for years saying she has never been pregnant and both her pregnancies were fake. The video has evidently revived all those theories with a ferocity Meghan probably didn’t anticipate even in her wildest dreams.

And now, her friend has spoken up on the topic after witnessing the circus of “evidence” being conjured to blame Meghan. In a chat with Newsweek, Christian Bouzy, an American tech entrepreneur and Meghan’s friend (who even appeared in the Harry & Meghan docuseries to dismantle the hate campaign against the couple), bashed the trolls for their “full-blown harassment campaign” against the Royal couple.

“Imagine, for a moment, what it would feel like to have some of the happiest and most vulnerable moments of your life turned into ammunition for hate.

Every maternity dress and every baby video becomes ‘evidence’ for strangers obsessively trying to prove your pregnancies were a sham. It is sickening and cruel.”

What Bouzy is additionally concerned about is how this “sustained conspiracy harassment” ain’t some fluke that can be ignored. He is afraid for Meghan, who has shared about the suicidal thoughts she survived while she lived as a senior royal during her first pregnancy. “One doesn’t have to stretch to see a link between that despair and the ceaseless torrent of vilification she endured,” Bouzy said, adding, “Beyond the personal toll on Meghan and Harry, there’s a broader societal damage to consider. When conspiracy theories like these flourish, they corrode our collective grasp on reality and decency.”

So far, Meghan and Harry have not addressed the barrage of insults, accusations, and drama aimed at the video. Though they have stepped down as senior royals, their method of dealing with controversies still matches that of the Royal family – no need to comment on it unless there is no other option left.
